Lerny is a mobile-first digital learning app for the education technology sector, built with Flutter and Dart. It gives learners a single experience across iOS and Android, with paths, courses, lessons with interactive questions, progress tracking, news, and honor boards. Users sign in with email, Google, or Facebook, and the app talks to a REST API for its services.
The Challenge
How do you deliver a reliable learning app on iOS and Android with secure sign-in and platform requirements that differ from each other?
[-Keep one Flutter codebase for both platforms, then resolve the iOS-specific work (native dependencies, code signing, provisioning, and App Store Connect setup) so the release meets Apple’s distribution requirements.
